One of the epicenters of zinfandel (AKA primitivo), the Valley of the Moon has been a center of viticulture since the 1850s. Sonoma Valley is gaining traction with artisan producers, regenerative farming, and natural wine.

Benguerel family Vineyard

This site was planted on its own roots in the late 1990s. Its deep, healthy soils-gravelly clay loam originating from an alluvial fan-allow it to be farmed without tillage or irrigation. It's located in the heart of Kenwood.
